For Hong Kong-Born Residents (Instant Online Permit)

Peak travel periods: Applications during Chinese New Year, summer holidays, and October Golden Week may experience higher volumes, though the online system remains efficient.1

After Your Permit is Approved

Your entry permit will display:

• Validity period: The dates during which you can enter Taiwan
• Duration of stay: Maximum 30 days (online permit) or 90 days (standard permit)
• Number of entries: Single or multiple, depending on permit type

At Taiwan immigration: Present your printed entry permit (in color), passport, and completed TWAC. Officers may ask about your travel purpose and accommodation. Be prepared to show return flight bookings if requested.4
